Letter from the Creative Director

Inspire comes from the Latin word that means to “enflame” or to “breathe life into.” Doing things that inspire us energizes us and makes us feel more alive. Inspiration doesn’t always have to stem from natural talents and abilities but instead is something that motivates us and is about connecting with what we are passionate about deep within.

Stems: A Garden Soirée

Guests enjoyed Stems: A Garden Soirée on June 24 at the beautiful Overland Park Arboretum and Botanical Gardens. More than 2,000 guests attended the 10-year celebration. Proceeds allow The Arts & Recreation Foundation of Overland Park to support Deanna Rose Children’s Farmstead, the Arboretum and city art installations.
