Parks Children's Dentistry 7

Conrad Parks, D.D.S., has been passionately leading Parks Children’s Dentistry in Overland Park for the past two-and-a-half years. It is truly what he loves to do.  After all, Parks considers himself to be a big kid at heart, so it is easy to understand why he has such a unique gift to be able to connect with kids in a way that is fun and makes them comfortable, even when visiting the dentist.

Parks grew up in Nebraska and is a graduate of the University of Nebraska Medical Center’s College of Dentistry.  After completing his residency at Children’s Hospital in Denver, he and his wife, Kelly, moved to Overland Park with their girls to start their dental practice. Parks took over after the previous dentist retired after forty years in service.
Parks loves the opportunity he has to connect and serve many of the previous dentist’s patients, knowing they have chosen to put their trust in him after trusting another doctor for so long.  He considers this to be a great privilege and, earning the confidence of these patients is something he works hard to achieve.

Parks Children’s Dentistry welcomes children from the time their first tooth appears until adulthood. Parks also specializes in treating lip and tongue-ties on patients as young as a few days old. The entire staff at Parks Children’s Dentistry has a passion for working with children and genuinely takes the time to get to know each patient.

Parks says one of the things he enjoys the most about his practice is helping kids overcome any fears they might have about going to the dentist, which comes pretty naturally to him. Volunteering at after-school programs and homeless shelters for families with kids for many years has given him a unique ability to connect with children of all ages and from all walks of life.
His love for teaching and assisting people shines through in the time he takes with each patient, helping them learn to not just have great-looking teeth, but healthy teeth. He knows healthy teeth look good, and great-looking teeth can go a long way in helping build a child’s confidence.

Parks and Kelly are true high school sweethearts who love working together. Kelly, a pediatric nurse, manages the office. Together they have a desire to continue to grow the practice to help and serve as many patients as possible.
The office is very child-friendly with a nautical theme, video games, a waiting area with a television, and a boat built by his father-in-law, which further evidence that the Parks’ love children and strive to help families live healthy lives.

As a patient or parent, you will find that they care about each and every patient and strive to accommodate every need. Parks and his staffs’ goal is to make a memorable and educational experience with each visit.
