The 60th anniversary of the Kappa Holiday Homes Tour will be December 6, from 4 to 8 p.m., and December 7 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. The tour will showcase exceptional homes decked out for the holidays by amazing floral designers to benefi t local charities and the Kappa Kappa Gamma Foundation. The tour also includes a gourmet shop at Homestead Country Club featuring vendors, homemade baked goods, limited edition Tour ornaments designed by Irma Starr and the Kappa’s own Roasterie coffee blend, Kappa Koffee.
The Kappa Holiday Homes Tour is dedicated to raising funds, awareness and support for local charities and the Kappa Foundation. The Tour has raised nearly $1.7 million for local non-profi ts. This year’s local benefi ciaries are Head Start of Shawnee Mission and The Health Partnership. Head Start provides comprehensive early childhood education, childcare for working parents, and social services, nutrition and health, mental health and developmental screenings to children from Johnson County families. The Health Partnership provides free medical and dental care to low income, uninsured Johnson county residents.
Tickets may be purchased at local Hen House markets, the Tour website, KappaHomesTour.com, or at the door of the tour homes during the event.
